EFFECT Photonics, a leading developer of high-performance dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) optical components based on its optical System-on-Chip technology, is attending High Tech NL Te Gast Bij CITC online event, on Wednesday 14 October, 2020.
In the series of ‘High Tech NL te gast bij …’, High Tech NL member CITC – Chip Integration Technology Centre is organizing an online event on Wednesday October 14th. High Tech NL is a sector organization for innovative Dutch high-tech companies and knowledge institutes. High Tech NL is committed to the collective interests of the sector, with a focus on long-term innovation and international collaboration. Members share their knowledge, look for ways to cooperate and use the powerful network to become more successful innovators.
EFFECT Photonics’ CTO and co-founder, Tim Koene, will be taking the stage and will give insight into Optical Packaging for Telecommunications. Optical Packaging is a multidisciplinary challenge, especially for the telecoms. Combining micromechanics, thermal design, connection structure, high-frequency design and sub-micrometre accuracies with low cost and scalability by volume, EFFECT Photonics is the first company in the world to introduce a full integrated optical system-on-chip (SoC) – combining all the optical elements needed for optical networking onto a single die.
