EFFECT Photonics awarded funding from Heart of South West grant scheme
EFFECT Photonics is honoured to be one of two companies in the UK recently awarded funding from the Heart of South West LEP ERDF Inward Investment Support Grant Scheme. The fund is designed to boost economic recovery and create new job opportunities in Devon, Somerset, Plymouth and Torbay.
EFFECT Photonics has R&D and manufacturing facilities in the region and the additional funding will be used for further expansion to the production facilities, creating at least 70 new jobs. EFFECT Photonics COO, Paul Rosser, said: “This investment comes at a crucial time, enabling us to grow the team in Devon, build capacity to service increasing demand and continue to innovate. We are entering an exciting period, bringing a genuinely value-adding product to a sector that is seeing huge growth as the rollout of 5G accelerates.”
