From March 5 to March 7 2019, EFFECT Photonics will be exhibiting at the OFC (Optical Networking and Communication Conference & Exhibition) in San Diego, California, USA. OFC is the largest optical communications conference in the world. Narrowband Tunable SFP+ Transceiver for Fronthaul (LIVE DEMO)
Based on our ‘Optical System-on-Chip’ technology EFFECT Photonics is launching their first product into the market. Our Narrowband Tunable SFP+ can be used for Mobile Fronthaul applications. It supports Industrial Temperature operation, allowing customers to use in it in outdoor environments. With a reach of up to 40km, it can be used in virtually any Fronthaul network. This tunable solution brings flexible and affordable DWDM to the edges of the network.
Autonomously Tunable SFP+ Transceiver
Network traffic at the edge of the network will grow exponentially over the next few years. As operators strive to configure services and deploy applications dynamically, robust and operationally simple fibre networks become critical. Modules that autonomously tune to the required wavelength are an essential component of these low-cost access networks. EFFECT Photonics technology allow operators to rapidly and economically scale their optical networks.
